showering thoughts

Yes! I do mean showering thoughts because I do my best thinking in the shower or at 3 am out of the blue.To be frank, the last article I wrote also started with the idea that came to me at 2.well this article, not so different…also started with a thought to write while taking a bath ;)

I really do have numerous amount of questions which keep me up at night. Absurd, peculiar, quiver, obnoxious, weird, unusual are just some of the words we can use to describe the type of questions I get…i won’t start about the time I get them.:)

My dad is just polite to say he loves to answer my questions to the best of his ability… but I know the fact that my questions don’t make one-bit sense…but I am still thankful for the fact that he takes time out of his day and answers them. I really do like the method he uses to explain them or in fact anything…he pulls out his writing pad brings out a white sheet of paper, his pen which he has been using for as long as I can remember and draw these interesting diagrams and explain everything clearly.

My mother, on the other hand, looks at these questions in a completely different or a more spiritual aspect and when the answers don’t seem to convince me she connects them to my usage of phone and that surely is an efficient conversation stopper. Well, I do feel that is a specialty that only she can do. :)

Just before I started penning this article down, I asked my parents to tell me a few questions I have asked them.

My dad said, (I have translated it into English) it’s not one or two its one crore (take my word for it its sounds funnier and better in Tamil)

My mom said, umm I can’t think so much…and she started to tell few questions…

Well you all would be wondering what my questions are and I would like to share some of my personal favourite questions which I still have not got convincing answers for

Without further ado 3 of my curious bites

Why do we confuse and create problems for ourselves by something we control???

Don’t we control what we see? Don’t we control what we hear? Don’t we control the things we feed into our brain? Then why do we simply get upset with the thing WE do?? We tend to overthink our own life too much…is it essential?

When we are all different in all aspects, why do we strive for the same thing???

Everyone constantly says that we are all different and unique but do you ever think that even though we are all so different, we all want the same thing. (money, power for that matter even emotions like happiness)(you get my point right?).

When there is ‘god’ why should there be inequality in our world

If there is that god the almighty, why did he make few suffer while few rejoice? Why the system of rich and poor? Is it really required? ‘Inequality is the root of social evil’-Pope Francis …let’s take a second and picture a world without any inequality … isn’t it incredible? For me, that is pure paradise!

Well, these are just some of the millions of questions I get. Well, I am very happy for a family that lets me express my view of everything clearly without any inhibitions. I truly am blessed :)

Also, if any of you have the answers to my questions or would like to share your view on these thoughts, feel free to share them with me. Maybe a different perspective is all I need for THE answer.

Until next time
